The National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development and Ilia State University signed a Cooperation Memorandum. The document was signed by the head of the Center Giorgi Machabeli and rector of the University Giga Zedania.

According to the Memorandum the Ilia State University is obliged:

• To work out training modules for pupils with Autism;
•  To Provide the piloting of the module;
• To give recommendations to the trainers on how to conduct the trainings;

The National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development is obliged:

•  To provide the place and essential material for theoretical lessons;
• Provide students of relevant profile with free of charge trainings conducted by the Center;
• Award training participants with University and Center joint certificates;

The cooperation agreement aims at promoting teaching for pupils with Autism and and provide school administration and inclusive education specialists with professional trainings/development.
