A conference dedicated to school principal standard was conducted in Teachers’ Professional Development Center. School principals, members of international organizations, mentor teachers, university representatives and education specialists participated in the event.

In the scope of the conference several recommendations have been worked out:

·         The Essence of public school principal standard;

·         Implementation of public school principal’s standard;

·         Development of school principals and career growth;

The recommendations which have been worked out during the conference will play a vital role in the process of forming the final version of the document concerning the principals’ standards and career growth.

It’s worth noting, that school principals’ preparation and professional development is of a primary importance in pupil-orianted teaching processs.
