Teachers’ Professional Development Center announces a contest for mentor candidates from 8th to 18th of October. The head of the Center Gia Mamulashvili spoke on the topic on the special briefing.

The contest is open for the certified teachers who have at least 3-year experience in teaching at public or private education institution. The selected candidates will get surpluses of 180 GEL to the salaries.

The contest will be conducted in two stages. On the first stage, teachers fill in the e-application form and attach their motivation letters. The second stage envisages a lesson plan presentation and an interview.

In 2013-2014 academic year teachers’ state program for inductee teachers will be implemented in Tbilisi, Gori, Mtskheta, Rustavi, akhaltsikhe, Telavi, Qutaisi, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti Poti, Batumi public and private schools.

Inductee support state program aims at encouraging teachers to acquire practical pedagogical skills, enhance their professional knowledge and helps them adapt with school environment.
