Teachers’ Professional Development Center holds a conference for teachers of children with special needs. In the scope of the project the participants will sum up projects in the field during three years and discuss future plans. The conference was open by the director of the center Gia Mamulashvili. Among the discussed issues there were some basic ones including:

• Professional skills development among general school teachers in the field of inclusive teaching;

• Non-stop professional development and certification issues of special teachers;

• General prospects and role of special schools in education;

• Development of human and methodology resources in special schools.

The conference will continue for three days.
