A few days before the beginning of the new academic year The Minister of Education and Science held a meeting with teachers of public school #3 in Chiatura. During the meeting the Minister discussed the current reforms in the education system. The main topic of the meeting was regarding ongoing certificate exams, teachers’ salary, and the new exam system (8+1). The meeting ended with a question and answer session for any inquiries teachers still had.

Teachers from other schools were also invited to attend, but the Minister plans to have many more meetings with teachers, eventually travelling to all the regions.
