The National Center for Teacher Professional Development and "Liberty Bank", within the teacher week, awarded the winners of the literary contest. Cash prizes and notebooks were granted to the contestants who obtained the first, second and third places in the competition.
For the best entry - "This is not me, Teacher" Eka Kevanishvili got the first place;
Zura Abashidze won the second place for the story "Staff Units";
Luka Bakanidze won the third place for the story “They were throwing (shooting), Teacher".
Apart from the prize winners, the jury composed of the writers nominated the top ten among the sixty-two contestants:

The partners of the contest prepared the prizes for other contestants as well. The publishing house "Intellect" awarded Ninia Sadghobelashvili and Ina Archuashvili with the book vouchers, and the publishing house "The Books in Batumi" awarded Diana Anfimiadi and Levan Loria with the books vouchers as well. Tornike Chelidze received the cash award from the Association of Professional Chemists.
The literary contest "The best story about the teacher” has been held for the second year already by the National Center for Teacher Professional Development in which modern Georgian writers take part. The aim of the contest is to promote teachers' profession and raise public awareness about the importance of its activities.
