designed the first peer-reviewed journal for educational researchers "Science
of Education".
The Center, by creating a new publication, aims to promote
scientific research in the field of education and integrate researcher teachers
in the scientific environment. This will be another new resource and
opportunity for teachers and researchers of the field.
Today, the new peer-reviewed journal has been introduced to
university rectors, deans of the education faculties, supervisors of education lines
and programs, as well as teachers and researchers at the National Center for
Processional Development. The event was attended by Lia Gigauri, the Deputy
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.
In addition to the e-journal, today, the Center hosted the presentation
of two books “Interactive methods in practice" and "Evaluation:
pupil, lesson and school" from the series of the “Teacher Library”
published in the framework of the magazine "Mastsavlebeli" and the
Internet newspaper "mastsavlebeli.ge".
The Center has already published seven books in this series,
which provide an important resource for teachers. The books include mainly
teachers’ articles based on personal experience and classroom practices.
