European Councils Expert in language policy, David Newb held a presentation on “Modern European Tendencies of Foreign Language Teaching :Multicultural Approach” at the National Center for Teacher Professional Development.

The presenter talked to teaches about the specifics and methods used in the multilanguage environment, that can contribute to enhancing of multi cultural aspects of foreign language teaching. According to the expert, when teaching a foreign language, it’s imperative that a teacher not only teach a language to students, but help them analyze the cultural differences occurring in the communication process.

Around 100 foreign language teachers attended the meeting.
