Vocational Education Teacher Professional Development Thematic Group viewed the recommendations of European Union Expert - Oliver Diz concerning the pay system for vocational education teachers. The teacher qualification and international pay practice rules have also been on the meeting agenda.

The meeting has been attended by the representatives of Ministry of Education and Science –Economic Department, Vocational Education Department, Teacher Professional Unions, business organizations and Vocational Institutions.

Last year ,,Initial Vocation Teacher Preparation and Professional Development “ regulatory document was developed within the thematic group, reviewed by the professional board. The board recommendations have been taken into account and working on the document is still under way. Vocational Teacher pay issue is one of component in the ,,Initial Vocation Teacher Preparation and Professional Development “ regulatory document . The pay model have ben reviewed by the board many times, the recommendations and feedback of the given issue will be reflected in the final document version.
