A seminar “ NATO –Choice for Peaceful and Sustainable Development” was organized for teachers by the “Information Center on NATO and EU “ and NATO Liaison Office in Georgia. The seminar was hosted by TPDC. Teachers met with TPDC Expert-Consultants and learned about the new opportunities for professional development.

Around 30 Geography, History and Civic Education teachers from Tbilisi and Dusheti Municipality schools participated in the seminar.

The seminar aimed at providing teachers with information on NATO goals and objectives, NATO-Georgia relations and the role of Georgia in development of global security.

The meeting is also planned with Georgian Security and Development Center Director , Estonian Ambassador –Peet Turk who will share the Estonian NATO membership experiences.
