Council of Europe in alliance with its member countries is working on “Developing Democratic Culture and Intercultural Dialogue Competency Models”. Before the final draft version is developed, ideas, principles and draft versions of the document is widely discussed. Currently a survey on Competencies for Democratic Culture has been developed and is uploaded on the Council of European website.

Georgia has been actively involved in the “ Developing Democratic Culture and Intercultural Dialogue Competency Models” project, for example TPDC is coordinating the survey on Competencies for Democratic Culture in Georgia.

Developing Democratic Competencies is based on the idea of forming intercultural and harmonious society in the world, free from radicalism and extremism, thus Georgia’s participation in the project is important at an international scale.
