Director of the National Center for Teacher Professional Development Mr. Giorgi Machebeli granted the members of musical groups at Tbilisi and Lower Kartli Public schools with certificates, winners of the Children and Youth Musical Group National contest .

The ceremony was accompanied by a music event.

The contest was held in March and there were total of 116 public school participants, the winners got special prizes nominated by TPDC.

The contest was initiated by the Georgian Musical Group Society, Tbilisi V.Sarajishvili State Conservatory, Evgeni Mikeladze Central Musical School and Folklore State Center of Georgian. The contest was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, Georgian Patriarchy Youth Center and the National Center for Teacher Professional Development .

The winner award ceremony is planned in Kutaisi in the nearest future.
