Teachers in Great Britain.
Teachers, organized into two
groups, each had 2 weeks trainings in London”Wimbledon School of England” and
in Nottingham “New College Nottingham”. The trainings were carried out by
foreign experts. Both schools organized the trainings specifically for Georgian
teachers considering their needs. The trainings sessions mostly concentrated
on:
New methods of language teaching;
- Boosting student
motivation;
- Teaching practices
among mixed ability and large classes;
- Georgian teachers also had the opportunity to
attend the classes of their British colleagues and reflect on the practices
later.
Teachers had been selected from Tbilisi
and different regions of Georgia based on prior developed criteria.
Teachers
will have the chance to share the experiences with their colleagues upon their
return to Georgia.
