Teachers’ Professional Development Center conducted a two-day conference dedicated to foreign language teaching. The meeting was attended by about 160 teachers of foreign languages from Tbilisi as well as other regional schools. The conference was opened by the head of the Center Gia Mamulashvili.

The main purpose of the conference was:

• To enhance the professional development of foreign language teachers;

• Get them familiarized with novelties and innovative methods in language teaching;

• To highlight the importance of language teaching in the modern world;

During the conference teachers presented speeches on such topics as: Traditions and Innovations in foreign language teaching; Intercultural dialogue; Intercultural communication and education; Non-stop professional development for foreign language teachers; Foreign language teaching and technologies.
