The head of the Teachers’ Professional Development Center met French language teachers. The meeting was attended by those teachers who will pass one-week probation period in the Antibes International Center in France. Gia Mamulashvili and French language consultant of the center Tornik Eristavi got the teachers familiarized with the probation program. The title of the course is “New communicational approach in French language teaching”. The method includes three basic directions:

•  Innovative method usage at class;

•  Active pedagogy and authentic document usage at class;

• Evaluation problems;

•  Development of oral speech;

Nine teachers will pass probation in France. The expenses will be covered by the Teachers’ Professional Development Center. The expenses of one teacher will be financed by French Institute.
