Teachers’ Professional Development Center concept presentation was held at one of the public schools of Gurjaani. The head of the Center Gia Mamulashvili discussed different issues with native teachers and school principals.

The participants of the meeting discussed several important issues including the future plans of Teacher’s House and some problems that occur in teachers’ career. It’s worth noting, that the new concept involves the topics as follow:

· Long-term trainings for teachers, principals and members of school administration.

· New methods of improving primary education teachers' professional development;

· Provide teachers with non-stop education and encourage them to succeed in their career.

Teachers’ Professional Development Center concept envisages exploration of teachers’ needs as well as update and development of teachers’ professional standards.

At the end of the presentation teachers asked Gia Mamulashvili some questions and received some information about the scheduled trainings, current programs and other novelties conducted at Teacher’s House.
